I would highly recommend to anyone purchasing a Gypsy horse to consider Forest Knights Gypsy Horses. My experience with them was second to none. Not only are the horses beautiful, gentle and sweet, but the customer service was exceptional. Since we were buying our first horse, I was a bit nervous at first. Add to that buying a horse online and having it shipped from Utah to South Carolina! Roxy made me feel immediately comfortable with the whole process and was very attentive and helpful every step of the way, answering all of my questions and sending countless pictures and updates on the girls and the rest of their herd. Yes, I said girls. While we started out with the intention of buying one horse, we ended up buying two! With all of Roxy’s pictures and anecdotal information, by the time the girls arrived, I felt like I already knew them. They turned out to be exactly as I was expecting -- actually even better! The Werner’s consider their horses family members and it definitely shows in their gentle dispositions and sweet personalities. I feel that not only did I come away with two precious new horses, but also friends for life. The Werner’s are just all around great people and were an absolute pleasure to work with. We feel honored that they chose to share their babies with us!

We visited the home of Forest Knights Gypsy Horses in June of 2010 to look at a foal we had seen advertised online. Having never owned a Gypsy Vanner before, we wanted to do some research before we purchased one. From the time we began inquiring about him, to our last minute visit, the Werners were extremely helpful. All of our questions about the breed were thoroughly answered and email responses could not have been more prompt. We were sent many pictures of the foal and kept well informed of his progress even before we saw him in person. With our trip being a last minute one, the Werners were more than accommodating. We were allowed to spend the better part of an afternoon getting to know the little guy. Over the course of the day we were shown both of the foals parents as well as some of their other horses. They were very friendly and inviting, making us feel very welcome. The laid back and relaxed atmosphere of FKGH was matched only by the friendliness of their horses. We were warned that once we saw the foal we would fall in love, and that we did. We had our minds made up about purchasing the foal Riddler even before we left the property. We could tell the Werner’s truly cared about all their animals and it was important to them the horses went to a good home. We believe our decision to purchase Riddler was so easy not only because he was an amazing horse, but that he was raised by truly amazing people. We feel like we hit the lottery with Riddler and we are very blessed to have done business with such great people. We would gladly do business with them again. We will be keeping them updated as their foal continues to be a wonderful addition to our South Texas Family.

I had recently discovered the gypsy breed of horse and fell in love instantly which started a search for a breeder. I was so pleased in meeting with Jim and Roxy and their willingness to work with me in buying Monte that I couldn't think of going anywhere else. These two have made a dream come to life for someone who otherwise would not be able to own such a horse. I feel I have made life long friends as well. Thank you both for such a pleasant experience and entrusting me with one of your treasured babies. I would highly recommend FKGH to anyone thinking of buying one of these beautiful horses.

> It has been a dream of mine to own a gypsy horse. I honestly have to say, I never thought this dream would ever become reality. Fortunately for me, I stumbled upon one of Jim and Roxy's ads for a horse they had for sale. I was immediately drawn in by the words "terms available". I have looked at many pictures of this beautiful breed, I have looked at many ads and have never took the time to contact sellers believing that it just wasn't possible for me. I decided immediately that I would contact Jim and Roxy. When I did, I wasn't entirely sure of what I expected to happen. They responded to my inquiry almost immediately and to my surprise they were extremely happy to work with me. The next thing I know, I have arrangements to meet with them. Prior to going to FKGH I had never even seen one of these horses other then in pictures. I was extremely "giddy" to just be able to see one, to touch one and yes I did get so overwhelmed that I cried. I have to admit that before I could even pull into the driveway I had to pull over to catch my breath I was so excited! From the first few minutes that I talked with Jim and Roxy, I was drawn into them. They were overly happy to show me around and introduce me to the horse family. From that moment, I knew I had to do business with them. I couldn't believe that there was any other set of people that I would rather work with! I felt so welcome at their place, so comfortable with them. When Jim and Roxy walked me over to see Broghan I was hooked instantly! I couldn't stop thinking about him from that moment. When Roxy called me to tell me that they were selling him to me I about fainted. I could barely talk without mumbling and rambling. I remember after hanging up with her thinking "man I bet she thinks im an idiot". Haha. From that moment, I emailed Roxy almost everyday and she always responded promptly answering the many questions I had. My experience with Jim and Roxy has been extremely pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone that I come into contact with who are looking for reliable, honest and enjoyable people to work with. I look forward to working with them in the future!

You have made my dream a reality. I love Broghan, he is amazing in every way. You have done such an amazing job shaping him into the wonderful horse he is. He will be loved and cherished everyday of his life!
